- 1.5 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 0.25 cup honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prep Wings: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the turkey wings thoroughly dry with paper towels. Arrange them on a large, parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Make The Glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, and olive oil until smooth and well combined.
- Coat The Wings: Toss the dried turkey wings with the Paprika Honey Glaze, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Marinate for 15-30 minutes at room temperature for deeper flavor if you have time.
- First Bake: Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each. Bake for 30 minutes until edges just begin to firm up, then carefully flip them over.
- Second Bake & Baste: Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Continue baking for another 45-60 minutes, basting the wings every 15-20 minutes with the pan drippings until they are golden brown, tender, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Tent loosely with foil if the glaze starts to look too dark.
- Crispy Finish & Rest (Optional): For truly extra crispy skin, switch to broiler setting and broil for 3-5 minutes, watching them very carefully. Let them rest for 5 minutes off heat after broiling.
Notes
For spicier wings, add 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper to the glaze. To reduce sweetness, decrease honey by 1-2 tablespoons. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to ensure proper browning and crispness. Always pat wings very dry before glazing for best results.
