  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp (5g) Ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp (5g) Sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp (15g) Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tbsp (8g) Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 thin Red Chili (optional), sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cucumbers: Slice, seed, and salt cucumbers for 10 minutes, then rinse and dry.
  2. Make Dressing: Whisk together vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, pepper flakes, oil, and sugar.
  3. Combine & Coat: Toss cucumbers, carrot, and onion with dressing.
  4. Chill & Fuse: Refrigerate for 15-60 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Plate & Garnish: Serve chilled, garnished with sesame seeds and cilantro.
