Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound penne pasta (uncooked)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Load the Crockpot: Place the chicken, cream, broth, butter, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder into your slow cooker.
  2. Start Cooking: Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours until the chicken reaches 165°F and is fork-tender.
  3. Shred the Chicken: Shred or dice the chicken and return it to the Crockpot.
  4. Add Pasta: Stir in the uncooked penne pasta.
  5. Cook Pasta: Cover again and cook on high for 20–30 minutes, just until the pasta is cooked through.
  6. Finish and Serve: Stir in the Parmesan cheese, cover for 5 minutes to melt, then serve hot.
