Description

Enjoy a California-inspired twist on the classic Turkey Club! This wrap combines sliced turkey, crispy turkey bacon, fresh veggies, and a zesty chipotle mayo, all wrapped in a warm whole wheat tortilla.

  • 1 Large Whole Wheat Tortilla (≈60g / 2oz)
  • 30g (1oz) Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ Avocado (≈70g / 2.5oz), sliced
  • ¼ Cup (60ml) Chipotle Mayo
  • 2 Large Romaine Lettuce Leaves, washed
  • 4 Thin Slices (≈40g / 1.4oz) Ripe Tomato
  • ½ Small Cucumber (≈30g / 1oz), julienned
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Olive Oil
  • ½ tsp (2g) Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Garnish: Microgreen Mix, Toasted Sesame Seeds, Lemon Zest

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chipotle Mayo: Combine mayonnaise, chipotle powder, and lime juice; whisk until smooth.
  2. Cook Turkey Bacon: Cook turkey bacon in olive oil until crisp.
  3. Toast Tortilla: Toast tortilla in a dry skillet until pliable.
  4. Assemble Wrap: Spread mayo on tortilla; layer lettuce, tomato, cucumber, turkey, bacon, and avocado; sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Roll Wrap: Fold sides in and tightly roll the tortilla.
  6. Melt Cheese (Optional): Heat sealed wrap in skillet to melt cheese.
  7. Rest and Slice: Rest for 2 minutes, then slice diagonally.
  8. Plate and Garnish: Arrange on a plate; drizzle with mayo, garnish with microgreens, sesame seeds, and lemon zest.

Notes
