Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps combine savory chicken with a flavorful sun-dried tomato basil cheese spread, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. They’re perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

  • 1 tbsp (15ml / 1 fl oz) Olive Oil
  • ½ cup (120g / 4oz) Mozzarella Cheese: shredded
  • ¼ cup (60g / 2oz) Cheddar Cheese (Halal-Certified): grated
  • ½ cup (115g / 4oz) Cream Cheese (Halal-Certified): softened
  • ¼ cup (30g / 1oz) Sun-Dried Tomatoes: finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp (8g / 0.3oz) Fresh Basil: minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml / 1 fl oz) Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper: to taste
  • 4 Large Flour Tortillas (≈25cm / 10in diameter)
  • Garnish: Fresh Basil, Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Make Cheese Spread: Combine cream cheese, mozzarella, cheddar, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and lemon juice; season and mix well.
  2. Marinate Chicken: Toss chicken strips with garlic, paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper; marinate for 10+ minutes.
  3. Cook Chicken: Pan-fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
  4. Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a skillet until pliable; wrap in foil to keep warm.
  5. Assemble Wraps: Spread cheese spread on tortilla, add chicken, and sprinkle with extra cheese and basil.
  6. Roll & Crisp: Fold sides in, roll tightly, and crisp in skillet.
  7. Serve: Slice wraps, drizzle with spread, and garnish.

Notes

For a tighter roll, don’t overfill the tortilla and apply consistent pressure while rolling.
