- 3 Cloves Garlic: minced
- 1 tsp (5g / 0.2oz) Smoked Paprika
- 1 tbsp (15ml / 1 fl oz) Olive Oil
- ½ cup (120g / 4oz) Mozzarella Cheese: shredded
- ¼ cup (60g / 2oz) Cheddar Cheese (Halal-Certified): grated
- ½ cup (115g / 4oz) Cream Cheese (Halal-Certified): softened
- ¼ cup (30g / 1oz) Sun-Dried Tomatoes: finely chopped
- 2 tbsp (8g / 0.3oz) Fresh Basil: minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml / 1 fl oz) Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper: to taste
- 4 Large Flour Tortillas (≈25cm / 10in diameter)
- Garnish: Fresh Basil, Sun-Dried Tomatoes
Instructions
- Make Cheese Spread: Combine cream cheese, mozzarella, cheddar, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and lemon juice; season and mix well.
- Marinate Chicken: Toss chicken strips with garlic, paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper; marinate for 10+ minutes.
- Cook Chicken: Pan-fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
- Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a skillet until pliable; wrap in foil to keep warm.
- Assemble Wraps: Spread cheese spread on tortilla, add chicken, and sprinkle with extra cheese and basil.
- Roll & Crisp: Fold sides in, roll tightly, and crisp in skillet.
- Serve: Slice wraps, drizzle with spread, and garnish.
Notes
For a tighter roll, don’t overfill the tortilla and apply consistent pressure while rolling.
