- 1 Medium Onion (150g / 1 cup), Diced
- 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 500ml (2 cups) Low-Sodium Vegetable Broth
- 200ml (¾ cup) Heavy Cream
- 150g (1 cup) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (Halal-Certified)
- 50g (½ cup) Grated Parmesan Cheese (Halal-Certified)
- 120g (½ cup) Roasted Red Pepper Puree
- 2 tbsp (30g) Toasted Pine Nuts
- 5g (1 tsp) Salt
- 2g (½ tsp) Black Pepper
- Fresh Basil Leaves
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics: Heat oil and sauté onion until translucent.
- Bloom Spices: Stir in garlic and paprika; cook until fragrant.
- Brown Turkey: Add turkey and cook until browned; season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer with Broth & Pasta: Add broth and pasta; simmer until al dente.
- Create Cheesy Sauce: Stir in cream, mozzarella, and red pepper puree; swirl gently.
- Melt & Thicken: Cook until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
- Rest & Plate: Let rest, then plate with remaining puree, pine nuts, and basil.
Notes
For a defined swirl, gently swirl the red pepper puree instead of stirring vigorously. Toasting pine nuts enhances their flavor.
