Instructions
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine Dough: Mix brownie mix, egg, oil, water (if using), and vanilla until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Make Caramel: Melt sugar over medium heat, swirling until amber. Add butter and stir until melted.
- Emulsify & Infuse: Whisk in heavy cream, then coffee granules. Cook 1-2 minutes until glossy. Cool slightly.
- Swirl Caramel: Flatten dough, drizzle with caramel, and fold to encase.
- Chill Dough: Wrap and chill dough log for 15 minutes.
- Portion & Arrange: Portion into 12 balls and place on baking sheet.
