Description

Rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake made with cocoa, cream cheese, and a buttery crust. Perfect for celebrations or everyday indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder or 6 oz melted chocolate
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or Oreo cookies for an Oreo crust)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (optional)
  • Zest of 1 orange (optional)
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread (optional)
  • Ganache drizzle, caramel sauce, or white chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs (or Oreos) with melted butter, press into the base of a springform pan, and chill.
  2. Make the filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add cocoa or melted chocolate, then eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream or Greek yogurt.
  3. Bake or chill: For baked, pour filling into crust and bake at 325°F for 50–60 minutes. For no bake, chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Cool properly: Allow cheesecake to cool in the oven with the door slightly open, then refrigerate until set.
  5. Garnish and serve: Top with whipped cream, ganache, or fresh fruit before serving.
