Instructions

  1. Prepare Cake Pan: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F), grease and line a 20cm (8-inch) round cake pan.
  2. Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and 200g sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. Add Eggs: Incorporate eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Combine Wet & Dry: Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the wet ingredients.
  5. Bake to Perfection: Pour batter into pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool Completely: Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack.
