- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Lemon Juice

- 1 Tbsp (15 g) Chives, minced
- 1 medium Carrot, diced (≈100 g)
- 1 Celery Stalk, diced (≈70 g)
- 1 small Onion, chopped (≈80 g)
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Olive Oil
Instructions
- Sauté Vegetables: Sauté onion, carrot, and celery in olive oil until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Slow Cook Chicken: Combine chicken, broth, and sautéed vegetables in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Prepare Dumplings: Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and turmeric. Stir in melted butter, milk, and lemon juice until just combined.
- Steam Dumplings: Drop spoonfuls of dumpling batter into simmering broth. Cover and steam for 12-15 minutes.
- Garnish & Serve: Garnish with parsley and chives. Serve immediately.
