  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp harissa paste (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch + 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Pat chicken dry and season lightly.
  2. Sear Chicken: Sear chicken in batches until golden brown.
  3. Whisk Sauce: Combine sauce ingredients and whisk well.
  4. Coat Chicken: Pour sauce over chicken in crockpot.
  5. Slow Cook: Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Thicken Sauce: (Optional) Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry.
  7. Combine & Rest: Return chicken to sauce and rest for 5 minutes.

Notes
