- 60 g (2 oz) Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- 30 g (2 Tbsp) Butter, Cut into Pieces
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Dried Thyme
- 0.5 tsp (2.5 ml) Smoked Paprika
- 0.5 tsp (2.5 ml) Black Pepper
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Sea Salt
- 1 Lemon, Zest (Optional)
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Parsley, Chopped
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Lemon Juice (Optional)
Instructions
- Season Chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, and paprika.
- Layer Crockpot: Arrange chicken and potatoes in the crockpot.
- Make Sauce: Whisk garlic, oil, broth, lemon zest (if using), and butter.
- Combine & Season: Pour sauce over chicken and potatoes, sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Slow Cook: Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- Thicken Sauce: If needed, cook uncovered on HIGH for 10-15 minutes.
- Final Touches: Adjust seasoning and rest for 5 minutes.
