- 4 cloves garlic, minced (≈20g / 0.7oz)
- 500g (1lb) broccoli florets
- 250ml (1 cup) low-sodium vegetable broth
- 0.25 tsp (0.5g) crushed red-pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp (8g) chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp (8g) toasted sliced almonds
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Season chicken with paprika, zest, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Sear Chicken: Sear chicken in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Make Sauce: Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in melted butter.
- Steam Broccoli: Add broccoli and broth; steam covered for 4-5 minutes.
- Bake to Perfection: Return chicken to skillet, spoon with sauce, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
