Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle (around 12×10 inches). Slice the dough into 1-inch (2.5 cm) strips.
  2. Form Knots: Take each dough strip, gently stretch it to about 8-10 inches (20-25 cm) long, and tie it into a simple knot.
  3. Bake Knots: Arrange the knots on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each. Brush lightly with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  4. Make Parsley Butter Green: While the knots bake, melt 0.5 cup (113g) butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in 4-5 cloves of minced fresh garlic, 0.25 cup (15g) finely chopped fresh parsley, and 0.5 tsp salt. Cook gently for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and the garlic is softened.
