- 0.5 cup (170g) honey
- 1–2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Soften The Butter: Leave 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter at room temperature until very soft but not melted (5-10 minutes). It should indent easily for a fluffy whip.
- Cream The Butter: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until it looks light and feels creamy.
- Add Sweetness and Spice: Slowly add 0.5 cup (170g) honey, 1-2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, and the optional 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat on low speed for 1-2 minutes until just combined and ingredients disappear.
- Whip To Golden Perfection: Increase mixer speed to medium-high. Beat for 3-5 minutes until the mixture is light, airy, and a beautiful ‘golden whip’ texture. Scrape the bowl as needed. (If it appears dense, whip for an extra minute until it visibly lightens).
Notes
For a less sweet version, reduce honey to 0.25 cup. A stand mixer with a whisk attachment is recommended for the quickest and fluffiest results. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days or refrigerate for longer.
