  • 150g onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste (halal-certified)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (halal-certified)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tsp water, if needed
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro or scallions

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics: Sauté onion and garlic in oil until fragrant.
  2. Brown Turkey: Brown ground turkey, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté Zucchini: Add zucchini and sauté until tender-caramelized.
  4. Whisk Glaze: Combine miso paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, ginger, sesame oil, and vinegar (if using).
  5. Combine & Glaze: Pour glaze over mixture and cook until thickened.
  6. Garnish & Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro/scallions.
