  • 1 cup (250g) Creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup (115g) Melted unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup (85g) Honey
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp (1g) Fine sea salt
  • 1 cup (200g) Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup (60ml) Heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp (30g) Unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp (2g) Flaky sea salt
  • ¼ cup (30g) Toasted chopped peanuts, plus extra for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt Ingredients: Combine butter, peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and salt over low heat.
  3. Add Cereal: Fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  4. Press Mixture: Press firmly into the prepared pan.
  5. Make Caramel: Melt butter and brown sugar, then whisk in heavy cream and simmer.
  6. Salt & Swirl: Stir in flaky sea salt and swirl caramel over bars.
  7. Add Peanuts & Chill: Sprinkle with peanuts and chill for at least 1 hour.
  8. Cut & Serve: Cut into 12 bars.

Notes

For clean cuts, run a knife under hot water between each slice. Toasting peanuts enhances their flavor and crunch.
