- 250g (9oz) No-Boil Lasagna Sheets, cut to 30 x 20 cm
- 200g (7oz) Fresh Shrimp, peeled and deveined, coarsely chopped
- 150g (5.3oz) Lump Crab Meat, drained and flaked
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 100g (3.5oz) Onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 300ml (1 ¼ cup) Heavy Cream
- 50g (1 ¾ oz) Unsalted Butter, cubed
- 100g (3½ oz) Parmesan Cheese, grated, plus extra for topping
- 100g (3½ oz) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- ½ tsp (2.5ml) Freshly Grated Nutmeg
- ½ tsp (2.5ml) Sea Salt, plus more to taste
- ¼ tsp (1.25ml) Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Lemon, zest only
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Fresh Parsley, chopped, plus extra for garnish
- 1 tsp (5ml) Chili Flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Lemon Juice
- Microgreen Mix, for garnish
- Edible Pink Flower Petals (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Lasagna Sheets: Briefly cook no-boil sheets (3 minutes), drain, rinse, and lay flat.
- Sauté Aromatics: Sauté diced onion (3 minutes) and garlic (30 seconds) in olive oil.
- Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp and cook until pink (2-3 minutes), then set aside.
- Create Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter, add cream and Parmesan, simmer and thicken (3-4 minutes).
- Combine Filling: Fold in mozzarella, parsley, lemon zest, and chili flakes into Alfredo sauce.
- Mix Seafood & Sauce: Combine shrimp, crab, and Alfredo sauce gently.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread filling on lasagna sheets, roll tightly, and repeat.
- Bake Roll-Ups: Place seam-side down, top with Parmesan, bake covered (15 minutes), then uncovered (8-10 minutes).
- Rest & Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality ingredients like fresh shrimp and grated Parmesan cheese. Don’t overcook the shrimp to prevent a rubbery texture.
