Description

These Shrimp & Crab Alfredo Lasagna Roll-Ups are an elegant and flavorful pasta dish, perfect for a special occasion. They combine classic lasagna comfort with succulent seafood and a rich Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 250g (9oz) No-Boil Lasagna Sheets, cut to 30 x 20 cm
  • 200g (7oz) Fresh Shrimp, peeled and deveined, coarsely chopped
  • 150g (5.3oz) Lump Crab Meat, drained and flaked
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 100g (3.5oz) Onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 300ml (1 ¼ cup) Heavy Cream
  • 50g (1 ¾ oz) Unsalted Butter, cubed
  • 100g (3½ oz) Parmesan Cheese, grated, plus extra for topping
  • 100g (3½ oz) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • ½ tsp (2.5ml) Freshly Grated Nutmeg
  • ½ tsp (2.5ml) Sea Salt, plus more to taste
  • ¼ tsp (1.25ml) Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Lemon, zest only
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Fresh Parsley, chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Chili Flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Lemon Juice
  • Microgreen Mix, for garnish
  • Edible Pink Flower Petals (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Lasagna Sheets: Briefly cook no-boil sheets (3 minutes), drain, rinse, and lay flat.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Sauté diced onion (3 minutes) and garlic (30 seconds) in olive oil.
  3. Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp and cook until pink (2-3 minutes), then set aside.
  4. Create Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter, add cream and Parmesan, simmer and thicken (3-4 minutes).
  5. Combine Filling: Fold in mozzarella, parsley, lemon zest, and chili flakes into Alfredo sauce.
  6. Mix Seafood & Sauce: Combine shrimp, crab, and Alfredo sauce gently.
  7. Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread filling on lasagna sheets, roll tightly, and repeat.
  8. Bake Roll-Ups: Place seam-side down, top with Parmesan, bake covered (15 minutes), then uncovered (8-10 minutes).
  9. Rest & Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality ingredients like fresh shrimp and grated Parmesan cheese. Don’t overcook the shrimp to prevent a rubbery texture.
