Ingredients
- 12–15 count Frozen Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Rolls
- 0.25 cup Unsalted Butter
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- tiny pinch Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon finely chopped fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme), optional
- 0.25 teaspoon Garlic powder, optional
- 1 teaspoon Brown sugar, optional
- 0.25 cup Plant-based butter, for dairy-free option
Instructions
- Thaw And Arrange: Place frozen Sister Schubert rolls in a baking dish (a 9×13 inch pan is great for a dozen rolls). Allow them to thaw at room temperature for 30-60 minutes, until they feel slightly soft and are starting to rise, visibly puffing up.
- Prepare Glaze: In a small saucepan, melt 0.25 cup butter with 2 tablespoons honey and a tiny pinch of salt over low heat. Stir gently until combined and warm, ensuring no sugar crystals remain.
- First Brush: Gently brush about half of the warm honey-butter glaze over the rolls, ensuring an even coating on each.
- Bake To Golden: Preheat your oven to 350F (175C). Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and beautifully puffed up.
- Second Shine And Serve: Remove the pan from the oven. Immediately brush the remaining honey-butter glaze over the hot rolls. Serve them warm for the best experience.
