  • 60 ml (¼ cup) honey
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) Dijon mustard
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) whole grain mustard
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) apple cider vinegar
  • 2.5 ml (½ tsp) smoked paprika
  • 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) black pepper
  • 2.5 ml (½ tsp) salt
  • 120 ml (½ cup) chicken broth
  • Cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water)
  • 6 g (2 tbsp) parsley, chopped
  • 15 g (1 tbsp) pomegranate arils
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear Chicken: Sear chicken in olive oil until browned.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet.
  4. Make Sauce: Whisk together honey, mustards, vinegar, and paprika.
  5. Combine & Slow Cook: Pour sauce over chicken and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Thicken Sauce: Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  7. Rest & Serve: Let rest before serving with lemon wedges.
