Description

A simple, vibrant homemade strawberry puree made in minutes with a blender. Perfect for desserts and drinks, and easily made sugar-free!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 24 tablespoons Granulated Sugar, optional
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, optional
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Instructions

  1. Prep the Strawberries: Wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly and remove the green leafy tops (hulls).
  2. Combine Ingredients: Place the hulled strawberries, optional sugar, and optional lemon juice directly into a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid and blend on high for 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth. For a thicker consistency, do not add any water.

Notes

  • Substitutions: You can use honey or maple syrup instead of granulated sugar to keep it refined sugar-free.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to 3 months.
