  • 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) Ground Black Pepper
  • 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) Kosher Salt
  • 15 ml (1 Tbsp) Olive Oil
  • 30 ml (2 Tbsp) Chopped Fresh Parsley (garnish)
  • 15 ml (1 Tbsp) Toasted Sesame Seeds (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Sear Chicken: Sear chicken in olive oil for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Transfer to Crockpot: Place seared chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Make BBQ Mixture: Whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Coat Chicken: Pour sauce over chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  6. Crockpot Cook: Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until fork-tender.
