- 30mL (2 Tbsp) Dijon Mustard
- 30mL (2 Tbsp) Whole Grain Mustard
- 45mL (3 Tbsp) Honey
- 15mL (1 Tbsp) Apple Cider Vinegar
- 15mL (1 Tbsp) Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- 5mL (1 tsp) Fresh Lemon Juice
- 5g (1 tsp) Garlic Powder
- 2.5g (½ tsp) Onion Powder
- 2.5g (½ tsp) Ground Black Pepper
- 2.5g (½ tsp) Sea Salt
- 15mL (1 Tbsp) Olive Oil
- 15mL (1 Tbsp) Unsalted Butter
- 5g (1 tsp) Smoked Paprika (optional)
- 15g (2 Tbsp) Fresh Chives, sliced
- 1 Lemon Wedge
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Make Glaze: Whisk together Dijon, whole grain mustard, honey, vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Sear Chicken: Sear chicken in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
- Simmer in Glaze: Pour glaze over chicken, add butter, and simmer covered for 8-10 minutes, turning once, until cooked through.
- Rest & Serve: Let chicken rest for 3 minutes before serving, garnished with chives and a lemon wedge.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika to the Dijon mustard. Using a cast iron skillet is ideal for searing.
