Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 23cm (9-inch) square pan.
- Combine Batter: Mix cake mix, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until just combined.
- Layer Ingredients: Pour batter into pan, dollop pudding over, and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Make Ganache: Heat cream, dissolve espresso and salt, then melt dark chocolate.
- Assemble & Garnish: Invert cake, drizzle with ganache, and sprinkle with flaky salt and cocoa powder.
Notes
For best results, avoid overmixing the batter and opening the oven door frequently during baking. A light dusting of cocoa powder adds a nice visual touch.
