Description
An easy and healthy air-fried salmon recipe featuring a savory and sweet miso glaze. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, this dish delivers perfectly cooked, umami-packed salmon without the need for a stove.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pieces Salmon (skin on, 5–7 oz each)
- 2.5 tbsp Miso Paste
- 1.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1.5 tbsp Water (substitute for non-alcoholic base)
- 0.5 tbsp Sesame Oil
Instructions
- Mix: In a bowl, combine Miso Paste, Soy Sauce, Sugar, Water, and sesame oil.
- Marinate: Add the salmon to the marinade and rub well. Marinate for 20-40 minutes.
- Prepare: Brush off any excess miso paste to prevent it from burning during cooking.
- Cook: Spray the air fryer with oil and place the salmon skin-side down. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
Notes
If you do not have an air fryer, you can bake the salmon in an oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes. Ensure you brush off excess marinade to prevent burning. For a keto-friendly version, replace the sugar with half the amount of monk fruit sweetener. Honey or other non-alcoholic sweeteners can also be used as alternatives.
