Description
A quick bbq rub, air frying, and then a bbq glaze makes these air fryer thighs deliciously seasoned.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
- 1 TBSP light olive oil
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat: preheat the air fryer at 400° for 5 minutes
- Dry: pat the raw chicken dry with the paper towels
- Prepare: put the chicken in a large bowl
- Coat: pour the oil over the chicken and stir to coat
- Mix: mix all the spices together with the brown sugar
- Season: then rub the mixture into the chicken
- Load: when the air fryer is preheated the chicken in it
- Air Fry: set it to 380° and set the time to 8 minutes and air fry
- Flip: turn it over after 4 minutes
- Glaze: when it’s been a total of 8 minutes check for doneness by using a digital thermometer, if the temperature is 155° brush it with the barbeque sauce on both sides and cook again for 2 minutes or until the temperature is 165°
Notes
Can be swapped with chicken breasts (increase cook time) or tenderloins (decrease cook time). Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
