Description

Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken is healthy and packed with flavor. From start to finish you can enjoy it in less than 30 minutes!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (microbial-rennet)
  • 2 Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1-pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to an even thickness)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium-size bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, and all seasonings together. Mix well.
  2. Step 2: Pound each piece of chicken, with a meat mallet or rolling pin, to flatten and tenderize.
  3. Step 3: Take each piece of chicken and dredge into the mixture, coating both sides.
  4. Step 4: Spray the insert of an air-fryer with non-stick spray. Place chicken breasts inside in one even layer. (Don’t let chicken overlap.)
  5. Step 5: Air fry at 375 degrees F. for 12 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Let chicken rest a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

This chicken can also be baked in the oven: preheat oven to 400 degrees F and bake for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Pairs well with white rice and sautéed vegetables.
