Description
Air fryer honey garlic chicken thighs are flavorful and juicy! The chicken thighs cook up so quickly in the air fryer.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs, boneless skinless
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1/2 lime (zest and juice)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Step 1: Take the chicken thighs and pat dry. Remove any excess fat if desired.
- Step 2: Season all sides with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, lime juice and zest, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
- Step 4: Add the chicken thighs and mix until chicken thighs are covered in the marinade. Cover with plastic wrap and place the the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to marinade.
- Step 5: Preheat air fryer at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil to keep the chicken from sticking.
- Step 6: Add the chicken thighs. Cook at 400 degrees F for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through. Internal temperature of the thighs should be ideally 175-195 degrees F.
Notes
Chicken thighs have a better texture and flavor if cooked to an internal temperature between 175 to 195 degrees F.
