Description
Tender, flaky, and flavorful Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon made in an air fryer with only 5 ingredients. It’s a foolproof salmon recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon filets (6–8 ounces each)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten free)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and garlic or garlic powder.
- Step 2: Pat dry the salmon filets and season each with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Line your air fryer basket with foil and preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 3 minutes.
- Step 4: Place the salmon filets into the air fryer basket and evenly pour the glaze over the top, ensuring minced garlic stays around the fish and not on top to avoid burning.
- Step 5: Close the air fryer and cook for 4-8 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Step 6: Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve with the remaining sauce from the foil.
Notes
Keep minced garlic around the salmon instead of on top to prevent burning. Line the air fryer basket with foil for easier cleanup. Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking.
