  • 6 oz beef smoked sausage, sliced into 1 inch rounds
  • 6 ears mini corn on the cob

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot to boil with enough water to cover the shrimp and vegetables.
  2. Step 2: Add the spices, halved lemons, and bay leaves to the pot and stir well.
  3. Step 3: Add the halved corn on the cob, halved red potatoes, and beef smoked sausage to the pot and stir.
  4. Step 4: Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  5. Step 5: Add the shrimp to the pot and stir well.
  6. Step 6: Cook for 2-4 minutes or until the shrimp is pink and opaque.
  7. Step 7: Use a strainer to remove the shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage from the pot and drain.

Notes

Omit the cayenne pepper if you don’t want a spicy flavor. Tasting the water is important to ensure it meets your liking. You can use shell-on or peeled shrimp based on personal preference.
