Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 56 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 12 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef and cook until browned, then drain any excess fat.
  2. Step 2: Add the chopped onion and garlic to the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika, and cook for another minute.
  4. Step 4: Add butter to the skillet and melt, then pour in the beef broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions in a separate pot, then drain and set aside.
  6. Step 6: Stir in the half and half and freshly grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and melted.
  7. Step 7: Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  9. Step 9: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Feel free to adjust red pepper flakes for spice. Substitute half and half with milk or non-dairy alternatives for a lighter version. Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
