Instructions

  1. Step: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Step: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Step: Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook for 7 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Step: Stir in heavy cream and reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency is reached. Mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
  5. Step: Add drained pasta to the skillet, tossing until coated. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Step: Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
