- 1 cup Reserved Pasta Water
Instructions
- Step: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add your pasta and cook until it’s perfectly al dente. Drain, saving about a cup of that starchy pasta water.
- Step: Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they’re softened and wonderfully fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- Step: Introduce the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with your spoon. Cook until it’s beautifully browned and no longer pink, then season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Step: Lower the heat slightly. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Gradually add the reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until your sauce reaches your desired creamy consistency. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it’s fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Step: Add the cooked pasta directly into the skillet with the luscious sauce. Toss everything together gently until every piece of pasta is beautifully coated.
