Description
Loaded with cheese, chicken, beef bacon, and ranch, this Crack Chicken Dip is as addictive as it sounds! Plus, it’s super easy to whip up, making it a great choice for entertaining, whether it be a gameday snack or a flavorful dip centerpiece at your next party!
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning
- 8 slices beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 3 green onions, finely sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9 x 13 inch oven-proof dish with oil.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, mix the sour cream, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning using a hand mixer until smooth. Then fold in the beef bacon, chicken, 1 cup of cheese, and green onion with a spatula, reserving about ¼ cup of the beef bacon and green onions and 1 cup of cheese for the top.
- Step 3: Add the mix to the prepared baking dish and smooth with a spatula. Top with the remaining cheese and bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Step 4: Serve with the remaining beef bacon and green onions, and crackers for dipping.
Notes
Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature to make it easier to mix with the sour cream and ranch. If you don’t have cooked chicken on hand, you could buy a whole chicken at the grocery store (a rotisserie chicken works great) or oven-bake a few chicken breasts and shred them. For some extra heat, top with a drizzle of hot sauce.
