Creamy Chicken Macaroni Salad

Description

An easy recipe using pasta, mayo, mustard, seasoned salt, pepper, celery, onion and chicken to create a side dish favorite!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 4 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 2 ½ cups diced cooked chicken

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook elbow macaroni according to package directions.
  2. Step 2: Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together the mayo, mustard, seasoned salt, black pepper, onion, celery and chicken. Set aside.
  3. Step 3: Rinse elbow macaroni in cold water and drain very well. Add to the bowl of the mayonnaise mixture and stir until well coated. Serve or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Cold pasta prevents the mayonnaise from absorbing into the noodles. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
