Description
This simple cucumber everything bagel salad takes a favorite summer salad to the next level with the addition of a favorite seasoning mix including sesame and poppy seeds, garlic, onion, and salt. Naturally vegetarian and gluten-free.

- 2 English cucumbers, thinly sliced, peeled and deseeded if desired
- 1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, plus more to taste
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
Instructions
- Step 1: Toss the cucumbers with the salt in a colander over the sink or a bowl. Allow to rest for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Step 2: After 30 minutes, gently rinse the cucumbers, then press them down using your hands to squeeze out any moisture or pat them dry using paper towels.
- Step 3: In a bowl, prepare the dressing by combining the sour cream, everything bagel seasoning, white vinegar, and ground black pepper.
- Step 4: Combine the dressing, cucumbers, and red onion then add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to five days. Due to the use of sour cream, it is not recommended to freeze this salad.
