- 1/2 lb. Elbow Macaroni
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 1 3/4 cups Milk
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1/2 tsp Mustard
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
Instructions
- Step: Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Step: In a medium saucepan, add the butter and slowly melt over low heat. Add flour to the melted butter and stir until well incorporated and mixture thickens.
- Step: Turn burner up to medium heat and slowly add the milk, about a half cup at a time. Continue to stir the sauce until it begins to lightly simmer and thicken. Then, add seasonings and mustard.
- Step: Remove sauce from heat and add the cheddar and parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.
- Step: Pour macaroni into cheese sauce and stir to combine. Enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the fridge for up to two days.
