Description
This smoked salmon dip is easy to make and the perfect appetizer for any holiday or special occasion.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 8 ounces smoked salmon (flaked)
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, dill, and salt in a food processor and pulse to a chunky consistency.
- Step 2: Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a mixing bowl and add the salmon. Stir to mix well.
- Step 3: Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Step 4: Serve chilled with baguette slices, crackers, bagel chips, or cucumber slices for dipping or serve as a spread with bagels, sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, and capers.
Notes
Can be made two or three days ahead and kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For a lighter version, substitute full-fat plain or Greek yogurt for sour cream.
