- 100 g (3.5 oz) sauerkraut, well drained
- 100 g (3.5 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh dill fronds, for garnish
Instructions
- Make Cream Cheese Swirl: Combine cream cheese, mustard, and dill; mix well.
- Caramelize Onions: Cook onions in butter over low heat for 15-20 minutes, then add vinegar.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread cream cheese on tortilla, layer with beef, cheese, and sauerkraut.
- Roll and Seal: Tightly roll tortilla and place seam-side down.
- Pan-Fry: Fry roll-ups in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Rest and Slice: Let rest for 2 minutes, then slice diagonally.
- Plate and Garnish: Arrange slices, drizzle with onions, and garnish with dill.
