- 8 oz block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- Sliced green onions or chives, for garnish
- Crumbled blue cheese, for garnish (optional)
- Tortilla chips, celery sticks, crackers, or crusty bread for serving
Instructions
- Step 1: Spread the softened cream cheese across the bottom of the crock pot, then pour the ranch dressing and hot sauce evenly over the top.
- Step 2: Sprinkle the shredded chicken over the sauces, add garlic and onion powder if using, and top with the cheddar and mozzarella cheese without stirring.
- Step 3: Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours or HIGH for 1-1.5 hours until bubbly and melted.
- Step 4: Remove the lid, stir until combined and creamy, switch to the ‘WARM’ setting, and garnish with green onions or chives before serving.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. For best results, shred your own cheese from a block rather than using pre-shredded bags.
