Description
This easy air fryer salmon recipe has a delicious brown sugar rub that cooks tender, flaky salmon with crisp seared edges in 7-9 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon fillets (5–8 oz. each)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- Pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine the brown sugar rub and pat it generously on both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Step 2: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and place the salmon fillets in the air fryer.
- Step 3: Air fry for 7-9 minutes, or until salmon is cooked and the tops are caramelized.
- Step 4: Dish and serve hot.
- Step 5: Enjoy!
Notes
If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, run it at 400°F for 5 minutes before adding salmon. You can substitute paprika with smoked paprika for a smoky flavor, or add red pepper flakes for heat. Finish with lemon juice for extra brightness.
