Description

These Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp are the most delicious shrimp you will ever make! Using Argentinian Red Shrimp, garlic, butter, and lemon, this simple recipe is packed full of flavor!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Argentinean Pink Shrimp (thawed)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • kosher salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Step: In a large sauté pan over medium to medium-high heat, melt two tablespoons of butter. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant, do not allow garlic to burn.
  2. Step: Add the shrimp to the pan. Cook for about 90 seconds, then turn and cook for 90 seconds more.
  3. Step: Add the other 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute, or until butter is melted. Stir in parsley. Remove from heat.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are properly thawed and patted dry before cooking for the best sear. The Argentinean Red Shrimp cook very quickly, so watch them closely to avoid overcooking.
