- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
- 4 Tbsp oil
- 1 ½ tsp salt, or to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Add the chicken to a large bowl or a plastic bag. Toss the chicken in oil and set aside.
- Step 2: Mix salt, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, italian seasoning, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Step 3: Add the seasoning to the chicken and toss until it is evenly coated.
- Step 4: Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
- Step 5: Once you are ready to grill the chicken, remove it from the fridge and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
- Step 6: Heat the grill to 400°F before adding the chicken. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Step 7: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes, then use it as needed.
Notes
Marinate for 30 minutes to overnight for best flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F. Leftovers store in an airtight container for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
