Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast tenders
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prep: Pat the chicken tenders dry and remove any tendons with a fork.
- Marinate: Place chicken in a bowl with olive oil, lemon juice, dried thyme, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 8 hours.
- Heat: Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat.
- Grill: Place tenders on the grill without overlapping. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until fully cooked and juices run clear.
- Rest: Remove from heat and allow to rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
Notes
For the best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. You can swap dried thyme with oregano or rosemary for a different flavor profile.
