Description
Crispy Chicken Tenders made with a light breading of flour, panko crumbs and seasonings. A delicious lunch or dinner favorite.

- 2 chicken breast (boneless, skinless)
- ½ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup flour
- ¾ cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups canola or vegetable oil
Instructions
- Step: Cut chicken breast into strips and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Step: Combine ½ cup flour and ½ teaspoon salt in a bowl.
- Step: Combine eggs and milk in a second bowl.
- Step: Combine additional ½ cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt, panko crumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper in a third bowl.
- Step: Dredge chicken strips into the first flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Step: Dip chicken into the egg mixture.
- Step: Dredge chicken in the panko mixture until well coated.
- Step: Preheat oil to 350°F in a frying pan.
- Step: Fry 3-4 chicken strips at a time for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Step: Remove and place on a baking rack over a baking sheet.
Notes
Try to keep tenders about the same thickness for equal cooking times. Cook in small batches to maintain oil temperature at 350°F. Keep warm on a baking rack in a 250°F oven until serving.
