Description
This copycat Taco Bell Mexican Pizza is made with crispy fried tortillas, seasoned ground beef, refried beans, red enchilada sauce, and melted cheese — all the flavors of the original made fresh at home.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 8 taco-size flour tortillas
- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 can (10 oz) red enchilada sauce
- 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 cup black olives, sliced
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, brown 1 pound ground beef over medium heat, drain excess grease, stir in 1 tablespoon taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water, and simmer for 4–6 minutes until the liquid cooks off.
- Step 3: In a separate skillet, heat 1 cup vegetable oil over medium heat and fry 8 taco-size flour tortillas one at a time for 3–4 minutes, flipping frequently until crispy.
- Step 4: Heat 1 can (15 oz) refried beans in the microwave until warm.
- Step 5: Place 4 tortillas on a baking sheet, spread a layer of refried beans evenly over each, and top with the seasoned ground beef.
- Step 6: Place the remaining 4 tortillas on top to form stacks.
- Step 7: Spoon 1 can (10 oz) red enchilada sauce evenly over the top tortillas, then sprinkle with 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese.
- Step 8: Bake for 8–10 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Step 9: Top with 1 diced tomato, 2 sliced green onions, and 1 cup sliced black olives.
- Step 10: Slice and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter crust, air fry tortillas at 400 degrees F for 3-4 minutes per side. You can also swap ground beef for ground turkey or shredded chicken.
