Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- 1 to 3 tablespoons sriracha (optional and to taste)
- 2 to 4 cloves garlic (finely minced or pressed)
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1.25 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast tenders
- fresh cilantro or parsley (optional for garnishing)
Instructions
- Step: Add all ingredients except the optional fresh herbs to a large ziptop plastic bag, seal, and squish the contents around so the chicken is evenly coated.
- Step: Place the bag in the fridge to marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best flavor.
- Step: Preheat an outdoor grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and grill the chicken for about 7 minutes, flipping intermittently to ensure even cooking.
- Step: Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
If you want extra marinade to use as a dipping sauce, prepare a separate batch with half the amounts of all ingredients and set aside in the fridge until serving.
