- 16 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate: To a large bowl, add chicken, oil, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, honey, garlic, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, red pepper, and black pepper; stir to coat and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.
- Skewer: Thread 4-5 chicken cubes onto each wooden skewer.
- Prepare: Add skewers to the air fryer basket in a single layer, cutting or breaking skewers to fit if necessary.
- Air Fry: Air fry at 400°F for 11-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Butter Sauce: Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add garlic and cook for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in honey, parmesan, and parsley.
- Finish: Brush the cooked chicken skewers with the honey garlic butter and serve.
Notes
Oven: Preheat to 400°F, bake on parchment paper for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway. Grill: Grill over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes per side.
