- 1 ½ pounds chicken thighs
- 1 ½ tablespoons whole grain mustard
- ⅓ cup honey
- ½ tablespoon garlic granules
- ½ tablespoon onion granules
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ⅓ teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step: Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.
- Step: Season the chicken thighs with garlic granules, onion granules, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, honey, mustard, and olive oil, then mix to combine.
- Step: Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, skin side down, pour the remaining marinade on top of the chicken, and bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through or until the chicken is well-cooked, the juices run clear, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C.
- Step: Rest the chicken thighs for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
If the chicken is browning too quickly, cover it loosely with aluminum foil. If using chicken breasts, slice each breast into two lengthwise to ensure flavor penetration and shorter cook time.
