Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken thighs (bone-in skin-on)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon whole grain dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Step: Preheat the oven to 425℉.
- Step: Place the chicken thighs in a bowl and season them generously with salt and pepper.
- Step: Whisk all the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Step: Pour the sauce over the thighs and toss them well.
- Step: Transfer the chicken thighs to a 9×13 inch baking dish including any remaining sauce.
- Step: Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until the chicken thighs have an internal temperature of 165℉ degrees and skin is crispy.
- Step: Transfer the chicken to a serving plate, cover with aluminum foil and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use bone-in, skin-on thighs for maximum flavor and crispy skin. If using boneless, skinless thighs, reduce bake time to around 25 minutes. For extra crispiness, chicken can be taken to an internal temperature of 175°F.
